Roomies!

Our new roomates, David and Shelly, moved in last night! After a long 12 hour drive down, they still had enough energy to have a pretty wild night with us! Wehad some beers and sang some karaoke! We had a blast.

We made lunch today, went to the beach, bummed around. They're super excited to be here. Victoria and I are experiencing it vicariously, as we know exactly what it feels like! They love it! Buh Bye!

Family Vacations part 2!

Hey Ya'll! Its Victoria!
It's been a busy couple of weeks, but I wouldn't trade a minute of it. Seeing all the family was way over due.

My family came in on Friday night. I had to work all that day. It was like Christmas, I couldn't wait to get home.

They finally got here around seven or so and we went out to eat at the Shrimp Basket! Always a fav.

Saturday, once again, I had to work, but the gals at work were really nice at let me leave early. Brad and my fam went to go look at a house in the morning and I caught up later to find THE HOUSE WE'RE MOVING IN TO! Finally all that is over!

That night my lil bro, Anthony, made an awesome dinner! We had shrimp and scallop skewers, new potatoes, and corn on the cob. It was super good.

Anthony got a little bit of a hair make over while he was here and that night was the first step.

I was actually off on Sunday so it was our beach day! Oh sand... We spent the majority of the day there had a little lunch. The water was really calm. Gracie finally got her beach time!

Anthony's hair finally done!

That night we went out to Live Bait for karaoke! My Grandma finally got to hear Bradley sing. What a blast! That place gets nuts! We ended up getting Gracie a great Fake ID...no lie, she got a little tipsy. Haha, right...

Monday, I had to work AGAIN, but I got of early so no harm. While I was at work they all went to the beach, I had already had enough of the sand.

We had taco night that night and just relaxed.

They left first thing Tuesday morning. All and all I think it was a great stay. I enjoyed every minute of it. I do wish my daddy could have come, but he had to work. I love and miss you very much Daddy.

Love and miss you guys already!

Family Vacations, Part 1!

Hey ya'll!

It's us again.

We've had quite a busy couple-few weeks!

First big news: We got a house! David Rogers and Chelle St. Cyr are moving down here and we're all moving in together!

Info: Approx. 2500 sq. ft. 4BR 2 BA, w/ additional office space! Newly carpeted bedrooms, tile floors throughout. Open space. Fireplace.

Screened back porch and fenced yard. Private, tree shaded. All electric.

It's not alot to look at, but it's real nice on the inside. And tons of space!!!!

We move in this coming saturday!

Enough about that though, and on to the other stuff!

We've been having some visitors!

Last week, my family came down, and this week we're hosting Victoria's family. They leave at 8am tomorrow and it'll be the first day we've been able to sleep in in 2 weeks! We've loved all the company though!

Anyway, Victoria will post about her family later this week, so on with my family's trip!

My Mom, Jen, Mark, and Kate came and spent a few full days with us!

They showed up on Saturday, which was my birthday! Victoria was working, so we just tooled around town a bit, went to the store, checked out the beach, and rested up for the night.

Later that night, we all went to Lambert's for some birthday dinner and throwed rolls!

We spent the better part of the next day at the beach and had a blast. It was Kate's first time at the beach, so it was definitely a fun experience!

We were able to take my mom with us to look at some of our prospective houses, so that was cool.

It was a relaxing trip for all. We did some beach stuff, some shopping, ate out a couple times, looked at some houses, and just bummed around town.

Pretty uneventful, but very welcome relaxation and company!

I'll just throw some pics up to tell ya'll about the rest!

Jen and Mark have alot more pics than we do, but here's what we got!
Love ya'll!!!

Updates & Hank

Hey it's Brad!

Just popping in to catch ya'll up on we've been up to.

First order, of business, i have new hairs. I like it alot. Victoria is good at what she does.

Second and most important is the new addition for our little family, Hank!

Hank is a purebred basset hound. He's 11 weeks old!

He loves and adores his big brother Charlie.

Charlie is a decent big brother, but does get a tad rough with him sometimes. Here's a (super dark) video to illustrate.

Charlie doesn't understand things like "slow" and "gentle".

Hank is Charlie's polar opposite. He's so fat, so lazy, so relaxed. He waddles when he walks, just likes to lay around and sleep, and it takes him like 20 minutes to eat his 3/4 cup meals, whereas it takes Charlie .3 seconds to eat his 1 1/2 cup meals!
Look at those ears!!!

Here's their little homes.

Anyway, we've had him a few days now and we love him to pieces. He fits in perfectly.

doe toe and a moe toe.

See ya'll soon!

Aw...

Hey, it's Brad.

Victoria took this picture awhile back and I just thought it needed to be shared.

We live here. Doesn't this picture just plain make you wish you were here?

Love Ya'll.

The 4th!

Hey ya'll, It's Victoria!

Happy Birthday America!

The day started alright. I had to work until six, and we were soooo slow. Parking was super crazy down at the beach so I had to get all festive and get our cooler ready before i even got off work.

I went home and picked up Brad and we went down and got in line for a parking spot. We kept aking everyone, "Are you leaving? Scuse me! Are you leaving?" Finally, we found this family who was leaving, but had to pack up the car, shower off, and all kinds of stuff before we finally got to claim our spot. They were funny.

Once we parked, we walked around to all the shops down by the public beach, went to The Hangout (they had a band there and stuff), and just generally killed time until the fireworks started at 9.

One of my friends from work and her boyfriend met us down there to watch the fireworks. The beach was paaaaacked. The display was a little weak, but seeing them shot over the ocean was cool. They were handing out these 3d glasses that were supposed to make the fireworks all trippy, but they just gave us a headache.

(picture is a little dark, but you get the idea)

After the fireworks in Gulf Shores, Brad and I rushed over to The Wharf (a big condo/shopping center/ampitheater type place in Orange Beach) and caught the last couple songs of Montgomery Gentry through the fence. Brad conned a parking lot attendant into letting us park in the vendor lot, so we got right up by the tour busses. As it turned out, the firework display for The Wharf was being shot off from RIGHT THERE! We were so close, I was afraid the empty firework shells were gonna fall on us! The fireworks here were amazingly better! The finale got NUTS!

All up and down the beach, people were lighting off fireworks and everyone was getting all rowdy. It was real fun.

After all that, we came home and had a pretty quiet, uneventful rest of the night! It was a solid day.

HAPPY 4th!!!!!
